Our Story
What started as a promise to a group of boys has become a commitment to a generation: develop young people, empower communities, serve others, and build future leaders.
It Started With a Promise.
Kingdom Athletes Liberia was founded on May 7, 2019, from a simple promise to a group of young boys.
Founder and CEO Samuel Koimene, drawing from his background in Youth Ministry and more than eight years of experience working with young people in the United States, returned to Liberia and noticed a group of boys consistently organizing themselves to play football.
Samuel saw more than athletes—he saw young people already demonstrating discipline, commitment and potential. What they needed was guidance and mentorship.
He promised to provide football jerseys, boots and help organize their team if they committed to participating in a leadership and mentorship program. They agreed, and Kingdom Athletes Liberia was born.

The Mission Grew.
Football opened the door, but the mission quickly became much greater.
Women Empowerment
As girls expressed interest in participating, Kingdom Athletes Liberia expanded into Women Empowerment.
Education & Scholarships
Students receive educational support, tutoring, career guidance and scholarship opportunities when resources allow.
Elderly Outreach

Community Service
Students regularly serve and clean communities, learning leadership, teamwork, responsibility and humility.

Touch Hearts Before We Ask for Hands.
We believe young people are more likely to become leaders and serve others when someone first takes the time to invest in them.
