WHAT WE DO

Our Programs

Sports may open the door. Leadership, education, mentorship, empowerment and service keep the journey moving.

SIX AREAS OF WORK

Building the Whole Person.

Each program is designed to develop practical skills, character, education, service and opportunity.

01

Youth Sports & Athletics

Youth Sports & Athletics

Our soccer program serves as one of our primary ways of identifying and recruiting young men into our Leadership & Mentorship Program. Students train twice each week and receive football equipment, jerseys, practice equipment and transportation support where needed. Education remains a priority. Students are expected to remain accountable at school, at home and within the program.

02

Leadership & Mentorship

Leadership & Mentorship

Leadership development is at the heart of our work. Students participate in mentorship sessions on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. Through the Word of the Weekend, they study leadership principles, discuss their meaning, complete related homework and learn how to apply lessons at school, at home and in their communities.

03

Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment

Our Women Empowerment Program provides female students with practical and entrepreneurial skills. Students have learned tailoring and sewing, including creating bags, T-shirts, dresses and other products. Monthly conversations with businesswomen and positive female leaders give students direct examples of what is possible.

04

Education, Scholarship & Career Development

Education, Scholarship & Career Development

We support students throughout their academic journey. When resources are available, we provide tuition assistance and tutoring. Students receive academic guidance and career and college planning, while graduates may receive scholarship opportunities and continued support toward college, vocational training or other pathways.

05

Elderly Outreach

Elderly Outreach

Our Elderly Outreach Program currently supports 10 elderly adults who lack consistent financial support and access to basic necessities. Every two months, each individual receives essential household supplies. Students participate directly so they learn compassion, responsibility, gratitude and respect.

06

Community Outreach & Environmental Service

Community Outreach & Environmental Service

Once each month, male and female students come together to serve and clean different communities. They cut grass, remove trash, work with marketplaces, provide trash bags and cleaning supplies, and build relationships with local residents and businesses.

THE APPROACH

Relationships First. Development Always.

Kingdom Athletes Liberia builds relationships with young people and then uses those relationships to create pathways for leadership, education, mentorship, practical skills and service.

“We don't simply ask our students what they want to become. We help them discover who they can become.”
